چکیده

The detection of reeection{ and crosstalk{eeects during the design of complex printed circuit boards is very time consuming if it is based on an accurate simulation of the voltages at the inputs and outputs of all transmission lines. A division of the complete analysis process into a fast and approximative preanalysis and the following accurate simulation of those nets, which have been classiied to be probably critical, can speed up the whole procedure. In this paper a fast method for the determination of the voltages at all terminations of coupled transmission line systems is presented. It is working in the frequency domain and it can be used for a fast preanalysis of complex PCBs with respect to reeection and crosstalk eeects. The dynamic behaviour of a transmission line system is described by a frequency dependent transfer matrix, which is calculated with a Pad e Approximation. Therefore, the calculation of the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the system is not necessary. The symmetry of the inductance and capacitance matrices of the transmission line system and a fundamental property of the matrix exponential were used to develop and implement an eecient algorithm.

Homotopy analysis and Homotopy Pad$acute{e}$ methods for two-dimensional coupled Burgers\' equations

In this paper, analytic solutions of two-dimensional coupled Burgers' equations are obtained by the Homotopy analysis and the Homotopy Pad$acute{e}$ methods. The obtained approximation by using Homotopy method contains an auxiliary parameter which is a simple way to control and adjust the convergence region and rate of solution series. The approximation solutions by $[m,m]$ Homotopy Pad$acute{e...

Assessment of X-Ray Crosstalk in a Computed Tomography Scanner with Small Detector Elements Using Monte Carlo Method

Introduction: Crosstalk is a leakage of X-ray or light produced in a matrix of X-ray detectors or array of photodiodes in one element to other elements affecting on image contrast and spatial resolution. In this study, we assessed X-ray crosstalk in a computed tomography (CT) scanner with small detector elements to estimate the effect of various parameters such as X-ray tube voltage, detector e...
